About

Our mission is to provide a space of expression, community, story, and truth for those of us within the mental health community. We believe we are not sick, only a natural variation of human; we are not ill, disordered, or diseased. We are artists, writers, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, people and peers who have reacted to life the best way we could. Here you will read our stories of struggle and of redemption.

Sure thing, I should be done in the next few days πŸ™‚
PS I agree with you on people making assumptions about your roots or nationality, sensitive topic but I’m glad you addressed it. And, yes, please can the Native Americans get together and tell Donald skunkhead Trump to please fuck off! Just don’t send him here, we’ve got our own problems hahaha

    Hey there,
I just wanted to let you know that I nominated you for the Liebster Award. You can find details in my post on it. If you’ve been nominated before or don’t want to take part for other reasons, that’s totally OK. All the best for your blog πŸ™‚

From the post I just read and your about page it seems all of this language and labeling around what is seen as “abnormal” is a conundrum and we’s almost be better off without it! Too many variations— some of which are assets in certain cases. That is what I’m getting out of this . . .

Cheers to challengeing the establishment. I’d love to see a few fat cats ousted from their executive chairs. I’m very interested in your thoughts on DSM. Spill those truths! Do you have any prior posts on the matter that you can direct me to?

Thanks! hmm, Im not entirely sure if I’ve done any post specifically on my views of the DSM. I’d have to look. Right now I’m at a training I plan to post about, which will ultimately include some views on the DSM by default granted the work I do. So that post can count lol
